I would hate to be middle eastern right now and be profiled right now...explosive implants means in the rectum???...rectal exams for all suspicious looking people from here on in?...not good.

A lot of people have scars that scream suspicion so this would cause a lot of headaches. Can't they just profile? The Israelites do and no one fucks with them and their TSA equivalents.

An average TSO has a high school degree and gets paid $12 an hour. The TSA rather spend millions and millions on questionable technology than to spend money on hiring real security personnel to do this profiling. Security screening companies like GE, L3, Smith and Rapiscan are making a fortune. They have lobbyists pushing for more power to the TSA so they can continue to sell to them. Remember that shoe scanner? it was a major fail. Then came the puffer/sniffer, it was a major fail too. Now it's the body scanner. The TSA keeps buying new toys and we are paying for it in more ways than one. This news is just another excuse for them to buy the next toy because the body scanner can't see inside of bodies.

I just went through a body scanner of some type called L3 recently at airport....tried to google search to see what this type of machine was but couldnt find it...did those a-holes at the airport do naked body scanner on me and save the images?..Im gonna be pissed if they did...I charge money for that!...
