I loved when a stiff German engineer told us how
to choose between "like" or "love"

A really nice show, a great host with a good sense of humor
in front of all those serious German guys. Clash of the cultures...
I kind of missed more about the M cars rather than the story
of Rolls Royce...

It was interesting how much effort they put into these cars. I guess we figured out how theycome up with the BMW tax cause they are paying some guy to make different gong noises that annoy the hell out of you lol

at least better than GM, use the same gong in most GM cars....

reminder...Top Gear Cadillac CTS review. Jeremy Clarkson was annoyed by the gong of it.

GM probably spend 20 cents for it.

The first 10-15 minutes of it were the most objective and interesting, e.g when they interviewed Csaba Csere. The chime engineer guy was entertaining too, but after that I felt like it became a bit too promotional, plus way too much focus on Rolls Royce. I was hoping for something like a review of the lineage of M cars or something, although it was nice to see the 507 and 2002tii.

Overall the documentary was weak. Why spend 10 minutes on Rolls. A rolls is not a BMW. I understand that BMW builds them but they have nothing to do with the brand. The brand is for drivers. Not for those preferring to be driven.

The rest of it was ho hum.. They didn't mention the M division or the racing heritage at all. Very poorly done.

At least they pronounced Bimmer correctly so I'll give them points for that.

it was mediocre to say the least, they showed quite a bit of the F10s so that's a plus! maybe more on the M cars later.
