Buying a new camera
So anyways for months of putting this off, Im going to buy a new camera today or tomorrow after work.
I know shocking... hahah I dont need anything intense, just a 200-300 dollar digital camera that takes decent video. (better than mine right now) I was thinking about getting a Sony DSC W50 6.0 MP i believe, which ive seen the quality of the videos and I think they are pretty good. But just wonder if anyone has another opinion. I would like it to have like a SD card for memory so i can just upload the videos/ pictures fast as possible. Any info / suggestions would be helpful. thanks in advanced.

I bought a Nikon S50 yesterday. It's very slim, 7.2mp and very capable. $299 but I think best buy has it for $269 right now...
I wanted a good quality point-and-shoot camera which would be very portable. I compared the other cameras on the market in the same price range and came to this one. Other than that tho, go with Canon or Nikon and you'll be happy. Pic: |

I will buy nothing but canon anymore, I love them. I have a Powershot SD500 7.1 megapixel. 3x optical zoom. I love it to death and takes pretty awesome video imo. You will not be disappointed

Go for a Canon SDXXX (go for the highest number in your price range). They are easy to operate and make even the worst photographers look like a pro!
