This is going to be my first bimmer and I don't know how they hold up beyond the warranty period. I drive a Acura now so all I've had to do in 215,000kms is tires, brakes and oil changes. Nothing ever broke or failed on the car.
Can I expect expensive electronic or mechanical failures 5+ years of ownership? This will have a bearing on the purchase/lease discussion. |

Someone wrote up a good example of how a good deal on a lease works.... I'm probably going to do something like this but on a 328i.

I opted for 7.
My previous Bimmer was leased. 39months, 78000km and 60% residual was a good deal. Recent residuals suck. Also I am doing 27000km/yr vs the allowance of 24000. Maybe F30's will be good initially, but interest rate is likely to be higher. |
