Holy fuck I am all over the place on what car I want to get. I have narrowed it down to
2007 911 turbo 2009 GTR 2011 Caymen S 2011 S5 2011 C2S 2011 M3 2011 C63 2012 TTRS I want the power of the 911 and GTR, but a newer car would make me happy as well. |

My take
2007 911 turbo - If I mod heavily, I would have sunk cash into a 5 yr car . . $600 over annual budget 2009 GTR - First year its out with some issues and main sucks $650 under annual budget 2011 Caymen S $3,300 under annual budget 2011 S5 - Thrown in as its amazing looking, but really falls short after that. $4,500 under annual budget 2011 C2S - Currently the front runner, price should drop with the new car hitting dealers. $700 under annual budget 2011 M3 - Pass, already have looked at this interior for 4 years. $2,700 under annual budget 2011 C63 - wild car for something different. $3,400 under annual budget 2012 TTRS - Would have to buy new, which I prefer not too Last edited by mithiral67; 02-15-2012 at 09:01 PM.. |

well don't buy a 2011 cayman, it'll be facelifted next year I believe.
I really am confused as to why a Carrera S or Carrera GTS is not on this list dude. You can go newer than an 07 easily. You're gonna get M3 like performance out of it and with a few upgrades probably surpass it on paper as well. |

ttrs would be fun but not in the company of what else is on the list. Thats more of a 335/1M/135i/s4/tts discussion.

I like the Cayman S out of the bunch (extremely fun car ~ imo a fast Honda S2000 Ha-ha!) but then again the new model will be coming out shortly. Same thing with the 911s. You will be investing a good amount of $ for the previous version and may have your regrets!

i am fine with going one gen older with the 911, they all look the fucking same. And the new ones are supposed to feel bigger, which is not what I want. I want the car to feel smaller.

It would be a pretty easy decision for me to pick the C2S from that list. Should be able to pick up a deal with the 991 coming out.
