i will be conducting a test 2morrow with a couple buddies to see how fast each compete with each other. nothing fancy just strectches where i know cops wont be and see what car is really fastest. Driving all the cls and lotus for over 2 years now, when i drve the e93, i dont feel its faster than the other 2, but it can all be about perception on my part. ill let you guys know what happens.


anybody got predictions? the spread on the lotus is good

Is it an Elise? Are all the cars stock? We kinda need more info than that...

i say 335>elise>cls but i think the battle for first will be really close and the elise may win because of the e93's extra weight over the e92.

Elise's are pretty quick from a roll once their second cams hit. The car pretty much has a powerband.

well i know the elise's have a powerband of sorts but the 335i should do 0-100 in .3 or so quicker than the elise according to mags

He didn't say whether they were racing from a dig or a roll. Plus I don't trust magazine numbers. I'm not a magazine racer. We used to have an Elise, granted I never drove it when it was stock (Forced Fed turbo) but riding in it I would say the car picks up decently from a roll.

Around a track the Lotus would absolutely murder them. If you're just talking drag racing who knows. None of these cars were really designed for that. The over all performance winner would definitely be the Lotus though.

I think you are under estimating the CLS550, it will pull on the elise from a roll for sure.

True bro....the new 550's on e and cls class are fast and I predict , it will be truely competitive on a roll!!!!
