Possibly, Looks just like a ipod touch with a stand. Also ive seen projector keyboards like those and then maybe a projector in the front. Im pretty sure you can make something like that but im not sure if the one in the gif is real.

I think could be useful for medicine students, military intel or why not search and rescue.

Sadly limited to a huge room full of cumpters and a huge source of power. Yeah, will take some time to go "personal" and "portable".

Well it could easily be made portable. I've seen mini projectors that plug into iphones at sharper image and http://www.frontgate.com/webapp/wcs/...209&redirect=y put one of those in there and your pretty much set. Not sure about the cool flip up stand though lol. Then find a way to compact those two into a case.

Well my bad... I was thinking in holograms, good 3D holograms with "touch" capacity not simple projects lol
