perhaps, but it's simple econ. people will drive less, shift to hybrid or electric cars, ride bikes etc.

i definitely don't just get into a car and drive somewhere like it's free (was a little more like that 10 yrs ago)

You're being ripped off on alcohol, bottled water, juice, and soda.

No offense guys, but your whining about the current 4-5 US$ per gallon is just cute.

I filled up yesterday for 8,45 US$ per gallon.
Gotta love the good olī europe fossil fuel tax-rape.
But if I could not afford this I would own a small diesel car. Or ride my bicycle to work.

If a price increase of 30% for fuel does effect your financial situation that hard, you should reconsider if driving a "premium" brand vehicle is the right thing for you.

This is the reason to have a Harley or some other 2 wheeler. Fill ups are only $12 and it lasts 200 miles. Living in the south FTW

One downside to such a short commute is that your car's engine doesn't get up to operating temperature before it is shut off again.

I think Comet should inform the boards how much he pays over in Beirut...that should send all the haters into a tailspin about how much they are getting ripped off.
