Maybe Grutter v. Bollinger. Fairly contemporary and controvesial case regarding race based acceptances at my alma mater. Probably plenty of stuff online. US v Lopez was good too. The first time the Supremes reigned in the commerce clause in a long time.

DO write up a high profile case. Easy to research online.
DON'T take anything verbatim from the web - you will get busted for plagiarism. My mother-in-law just retired as a high school teacher; lots of good stories about idiots copying online info. Censorship issue? 'Bong Hits For Jesus' sign at school? Google it. |
