Arrow BMW ActiveHybrid Tourer XL...

Auto Motor und Sport is reporting that this is the bmw VAN we have been hearing rumors about for years now. It is FWD and seats seven and has some sporty intentions. Total length of 4.5 to 4.6 meters. The roof line flat on top.

The production Active Tourer will be available in two wheelbases.
The standard car is based on the Active Tourer Concept with an extended wheelbase model aimed at customers in Asia.

Mercedes-Benz are also bringing out an extended B-Klasse variant.
This segment is in a strong transition of growth at the moment with projected sales expected to grow around 45% per year. It shows how important the F45 is at BMW, potentially you are looking at a new segment for BMW with the potential to follow the E53 X5 to be a ground breaking new niche for BMW.

The next BMW X1 will also break the mold and offer Chinese customers an exclusive X1 Li - A longer wheelbase X1 , strategically important in a market where both , SAVs are rising and demand for extended wheelbase models is also growing.

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

The artist Theophilus Chin has accurately and exceptionally rendered what the Active Gran Tourer will look like compared to its smaller wheelbase brother.
Mercedes-Benz have been caught testing their B-Klasse L which is more or less the same idea.

If you have a large family ?
Then you will understand , if you like or would like A BMW?
Potentially you are looking at the "Second BMW" the additional family transport where another BMW model rests on the same driveway.

Inside the Active Tourer.
As you can see it is a production re-interpretation of the Concept Car , including floating console and impression of space.
