Unusual BMW Poster....Any idea of the age

Hi Everyone

I was doing a clear out and found this poster that i got some years back off a collector, it big enough 36x46"

Would anybody know about it's age, theme and purpose?

The woman is German actress and singer Marlene Dietrich in her signature role as Lola in "Der blaue Engel" (Blue Angel). The car looks like a 1930s 328 convertible. Lucky you, this is a cool poster!

Looks like its from 1977 the year I was born. The artist did not do her any favours with this one!
