I understand. I like small cars also. But don't mistake size for weight. The new CTS is the same weight as the 335 which means that its only 200lbs heavier than your car, but it has more HP and a wider base.

Wait what? F30/E90 335i ~ 3605 lbs, 2014 CTS = 3966 lbs, where do you get the same weight?

Looks like the 4 cylinder CTS can weigh as little as 3,650 pounds:
http://www.autoblog.com/2013/09/24/2...w-first-drive/ The weight listed in this thread is for the twin turbo V6 CTS. |

Those 3616 lbs. are listed for 4-cyl. version, which will not be more powerful than 335i as you mentioned. This post/topic was for tested by C&D CTS v-spot 3.6L TT which is 3966 lbs. |

And that CTS V-Sport has 40% more power than the 335i. A fair comparison would be to the 550i, which weighs a good 300 pounds more. I'm not really sure why anyone is comparing the new CTS to the F30, which while it's large, is still not F10 or CTS large. |

I believe it goes as follows CTS 2.0T --> 528i CTS 3.6 --> 535i CTS V-Sport --> 550i CTS-V (if and when it's made) -->M5 |

I just saw FOUR of them on the road traveling together and I was so awe-struck that I couldn't pull my phone out in time to snap a photo. The front of the car looks like Lamborghini designed it but the back is a bit dull. They were red, black, and two other colors but the black looked the best.
They're not available for purchase yet are they? I assume the ones I saw were part of some road test. |

Someone using that same kind of logic would say a 1 series is a secretary's car.
There's a reason they don't make one design of car. Different strokes. Trying to make every car look like your particular favorite is something an old man would do. These are fresh new designs, give them credit. |

Still don't like the styling anywhere near as much as the last CTS. There is too much trunk which gives it that old-man-Caddy feel but this drivetrain is ridiculous! Great numbers especially when you consider this isn't even the V!

I think if you guys actually saw this car in person you're minds will be changed. It looks spectacular in person. At least to me it does. It has great road presence. It makes me do a double take. I personally love the looks of the new CTS. I cant wait to see the CTS-V.
