I'm shocked by this. Everyone is certainly entitled to their own opinion, and I respect yours but "ugly" really, really surprises me. I'm of the opinion that it's hands down the most beautiful car under $65K ... aesthetically a 335 doesn't come anywhere remotely close.

Disclaimer: I have a leased A5, ending next month. Just ordered a 435i.

Could probably get a good deal on one. Redesigned A5's are due out by the years end (2015 model year).

Good choice! I love my S5 way more than my 335i. The engine & 6MT are so silky smooth, 335 is not even come close to the S5 refinement.

Before answering consider this. I would be set on the V8 because 1 it's cheaper and 2, it sounds so much better and I think it's 300+ hp would be sufficient. Also my problem is I hear they have engine problems. I also hear that owning a VW out of warranty is suicide.

If anyone ones an s4/5 with a v8 please let me know how it's going.

All opinions are welcome and I do apologize if this has already been covered but we all like talking cars anyway so no harm done.

Thanks!
I'm not gonna lie, the V8's do sound amazing for obvious reasons!
But we had a 2013 Audi S4 (v6) for a week as a loaner, and that was one of the most fun car's I have ever driven. I've driven a lot cause my Uncle owns a car dealership but that car feels amazing! The transmission was auto but shifted at really fast speeds.

As for the V8, never driven one so I can't say much there.

Hope you get the car that you want though!

I wouldn't choose an S5 (or even RS5) over an M3 but it's definitely a much better car than the 335i.

Gorgeous car, and 100% pure class. Not something you can always say about BMW. My wife really wanted an A5, but since everyone and their dog wants one also, and we couldn't find one in a colour that she liked (and that I could justify spending the money on), we settled for a 135i. Been a fun little car, but I'm looking at Audis again.
