Spoken like someone under 24. Do you know the reason for this? Some dealerships insurance companies will not allow it. I worked at a place like this. Not the dealerships fault. Blame the lawyers and insurance companies instead or the drivers under 24 who have proven to have more accidents.

there is a lot more that goes into these now a days then great service and prices. the parameters have changed a lot over the years. We have won it 9 times (in a row) when the parameters were different. Congrats to those dealers who won!

Just so you guys know, COE isn't just based on sales. It's also based on purchasing parts from bmw, CSI, and a bunch of other categories. Sales only constitutes about 20% of the total consideration. I'm sorry some of you got ripped off by sales departments but I don't feel it's fair to judge the whole dealer by your sales experience.

Some of the comments here are hilarious...there are like 13 different categories that a dealership has to hit to make the "Center of Excellence". It is not simply based on how good of a deal you got or how you were treated. Sales, service and parts also have to meet the goals. Most of the larger dealerships are not listed.

Also, why don't they check the stats for how accident prone drivers under 24 who drive BMW's. I'm sure it's not that different than a 44 year old. Sorry old-timers, the luxury market is fighting to sell the 3 series and c classes to make those large quarterly numbers. Who do you think buys all those cars? The younger age group. If a dealership 6 miles away can give me a loaner when you are 21 then I am sure Stevens creek can take out a new insurance policy. |

There are these people known as actuaries...they've got decades of data and statistical analysis on the risk assessments for this sorta thing. If someone under 24 doesn't like it? They can just buy from a dealership that will give them a loaner. I understand some insurance companies and/or dealerships don't want to take a seemingly unnecessary risk but there's plenty who won't see an issue with it. I had no problems getting loaners at 22 and upward, well I did, but age wasn't a factor, it was more so the Infiniti dealer at the time rarely had any loaners. |

Canada to the US is just a drop in the bucket financially and even demographically...the population and market is too small for them to care. I know a lot of companies where "North America" only includes the USA.....quite pathetic and stupid IMHO |

How did Pacific BMW make the list? they are the worst dealership I've ever dealt with. Horrible service department, I now drive 30 minutes to Van Nuys to take my car to service.
Pacific was the dealership that took the 1M on a joyride and sold it to a customer without informing him. |

Car dealerships are broken, the entire system. These are all bs/fluff numbers that BMW takes and rewards dealers based on how well that dealer manipulates the figures. It really sucks. Their are no real satisfaction numbers. Every thing is exaggerated both good and bad.
