Too much stylised and fussy design makes it another boring Z4.

Each generation is getting worse.

BMW needs to go back to its roots to make it simple and sporty.

So now that I have a E86 Z4 (and a Z3 too) I can legitimately say to BMW, I'll never ever buy a BMW that is shared with Toyota. No thanks. Guess all that bullshit about being "independent" was just .... Bullshit.

^^ I guess we'll have to wait and see, but it's not like its going to be a re-badged Corolla. I'm interested to see how much the joint venture increases the bang-for-the-buck in terms of materials. I thought we'd see more CF in the M3/4 and am a bit disappointed that it's only a handful of parts, perhaps the new Z range will be more progressive in this respect... and hopefully we'll get an M this time around too

I'm in love with the sketches of the Z6 that scott26 posted over here! the front looks beautiful from the side and overall it looks like a very stunning car. I hope BMW will make a car that will look like the scetches! I'm wondering when we are going to see the car.

A few days ago BMWBlog posted an article where they suggested that the smallest z-roadster is canceled, is that right scott26?

Bullshit. __________________ A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
