Hey guys, I know there are a few people on here who also own Mercs alongside their BMWs, so I was wondering if I could get some help. Haven't gotten responses over at benzworld.
We have an R231 SL550 (2013 MY) and I was wondering if there was anything like the exhaust valve mod for our BMWs. Do these cars have a cover over the exhaust valve like my M3 that can be forced open to allow for a more raw sounding exhaust while daily driving? Thanks in advance! (Also, not looking to do any exhaust work or change the exhaust, just wondering if there is an easy fix like with BMWs)

I don't believe so. I have seen some folks remove the resonator.
I drove one of these at the BMW Drive for America and it is great! |
