Training details



Venture into the world of motorsport and brace yourself for the ultimate adrenalin rush. The BMW Motorsport Special guarantees you two days of pure excitement and authentic racing atmosphere behind the wheel of two outstanding vehicles on international race tracks. You’ll be joined by experienced BMW instructors who will let you in on professional tips and tricks to help you on your way to become a fully-fledged racing driver. You'll start off in the sporty BMW M4, in which you'll face all sorts of challenges such as the double lane-change. On the second day you'll start from the grid in a Formula BMW FB02, promising pure speed and intensive thrills. Get ready to be blown away by the unique combination of M Power and Formula BMW.

Duration / number of participants:
2 days and 2 overnight stays (arrival and theory session the evening before) / max. 9 participants per group.

Evening before
- Individual arrival
- Instructions and theory of BMW M4 driving dynamics
- Dinner
- Overnight accommodation
Day 1 (BMW M4)
- Double lane-change
- Braking in corners
- Pace-car-led laps
- Ideal-line section
- Timed slalom course
- Dinner
- Overnight accommodation
Day 2 (Formula BMW FB02)
- Issuing of driver's equipment, seat adjustment, instruction in Formula BMW FB02
- Theoretical instruction (basics, race track, assistance)
- "Shifting & braking" race track unit: getting to know the Formula BMW FB02
- "Lead & follow normal" race track unit: racing line, braking-points
- "Lead & follow intensive" race track unit: controlled overtaking, free driving if applicable
- Return of driver's equipment
- Snack
- Certificate handout and farewell
- Individual departure

I have a M Power day courtesy of BMW at Goodwood next week. Not quite your experience nor euro 4K.. but a hill climb and track event I understand i8 will be there too

Never drove a Formula BMW but if it's anything like a Formula Renault, it's a lot of fun. Did a track day in SoCal last year.

During HPDE they told me, if i was comfortable enough, to switch all nanny's off as they were restricting mine and the car capabilities
