2016 M235 or 2016 C450 AMG Sport?
I'm at a loss on which car to get. On one hand, you have a performance coupe, on the other a still rather fast luxury car that looks amazing.
I'm 21 so I'm leaning slightly towards the more driver oriented car, the 235, but the new C450 looks absolutely money to me. Looks like it could be worth $120k but that's just me, plus it can fit many people though I don't really like fitting too many people in the car usually. Please help out |

You're in the minority thinking the new W205 C, whatever trim, looks absolutely money. But it's subjective so no harm.
As far as driving dynamics are concerned, I'm willing to bet the 235 is more fun like the above post states. The 450 is bigger and heavier albeit with more horsepower to compensate. Forum member can't really help you decide. Test drives do.

I've driven the C400 and my friend has a M235 The C400 is more for class and appearance. Handling and shifts are more sluggish, the M235 shifts almost instantly, very tightly and quick behaved car, and way more fun. Love the interior and feel of the car as well, but the exterior looks sorta meh as well. Decisions are hard. Does anyone know if the 2016 m235 will be any different than the 2015? |

No LCI/facelift coming for 2016 M235. They might tweak a couple of things, if anything at all. In other words, it's not worth waiting just to get into a 2016 model. What is worth waiting for is the M2 that is scheduled to hit dealerships in spring of 2016. It's hyped to be a kick ass car projected by many to start in the low $50k range.

An if the M235i is any indication it should be awesome. Granted they are two different cars, but I would wait till everything is out and you can do seat time in both. |

I hope the M2 uses the S55 engine. Also, are there any chip tuners for the S55? Oh and, guessing with a tune, weight savings, true m car, the M2 can probably break 4 second 0-60 easily... I hope |

M235i - Front Engine Rear Drive 8AT or 6MT Inline 6 Single Turbo
C450 AMG Sport - Front Engine All Wheel Drive 7G Auto V6 Twin Turbo The M235i is smaller, more nimble, and will be way more of a driver's car. The C450 (according to current reviews) is buttery smooth of an engine, and will make better noise (AMG does good noise). If you have any intention of tracking your car, then M235i no doubt (add the diff). The C450 will carry more people and luggage and will be more of a luxury car for longhauls. You're 21, so go live, get the M235i. I'm 32, and I would pick the C450 AMG, because it just looks so good.

But the M2 with the JB4 will be insane. It will produce some great low end torque which I love . Acceleration will be super fast. The 450, I would think with the weight savings an extra torque, the 0-60 would be faster than the 4.9 seconds... Even the 400 was this fast. I'm guessing the true number will be more like 4.6. Anyway, a car like that, acceleration doesn't that much M2 looks promising |

Do you usually bring a lot of things with you or a lot of people? If not, the m235i. Many reviewers have said it is one of the funnest cars to drive up until now.
My best opinion, go out and test drive both! Looks is one thing but being in the hot seat is another. Similar to my experience with the rc350. I love the aggressive looks, the plush comfortable seats, the interior and the gauge cluster. But i didn't like how it drove. Felt sluggish, even in sports mode. It didn't throw me back into my seat like the s4 did. You might not like how either of them drive in the end.

Check out 2addicts forum/M2 sub-forum. Plenty of speculation, renders, and guys acting like school girls giddy with anticipation of what just might be the best ///M in many years.

This depends on a number of factors but the main one is whether you like to enjoy driving vs posing. Unfortunately it would be difficult for me to ever consider the Mercedes as I have always loved BMWs..
A manual M235i for me would be perfect. As for piggybacks ... meh! A remap of the ECU would do it for me! |

Based on previous information leaks, the M2 will have the B58 engine that is still in development.

What about the LCI M340i that's been speculated? That would be a direct competitor to the C450.
The M2 will be using the same engine (supposedly) as the upcoming X4 M40i and the M340i which is a new generation of motors to replace the N55. So single turbo inline 6. Rumor to be around 370 hp. I also agree the M2 would be worth waiting for. The M235 is a fantastic car for the money but if M2 isn't that much more then why not. |

If it has to be one of these cars id pick the Benz. Looks great also great interior
Personally id just save my money and get a used E92 for $45Kish. OR a used M4 Im sure you could get one for a little over 60k |
