Adam, thanks for commenting. Congrats on you and your brother restoring the car. Can you give us more details on the project? How long? How much?
We got the car around July 4th 2014 and just sold it last month, so roughly 12-14months, I had around 7k invested in it that includes money that was recycled from parts that were not used, it was a decent profit.

From day one the car was to be a flipper, i think the cars are neat but cant see myself owning one just for the fun factor sake, infact driving it in general isnt for me at all....especially since the risk of something happening to it while its on the road is high and would freak me out alone. The other part which people sometimes cry baby about is the engine swap, again car was revamped to make money on, the cost offset would have been too great to re-outfit the car with the original s-14 engine so that idea was scraped immediately...yea it ruins certain aspects of the car but the engine swaps over so nicely that it almost belongs in there anyway...The car came out well overall but again im happy to see it go, it will be added to my photo collection along with some of my other projects, here is an Mirage-Evo6 conversion i did last before this for those interested.

Damn I would still take that e30M over any car BMW put out in the last 10 years.

Thanks. I appreciate you responding and giving us more details. Let us know if you find anymore abandon M3's in barns throughout the Mid-Atlantic!
