Right now, the value in the CT6 is that it seems to be the flagship but isn't the flagship. It offers some features that the S-Class and 7er have but is priced similarly to the E-Class and 5er. But with the W213 E-Class and G30 5er coming out soon, that may soon disappear especially when it comes to the E-Class which from what we've seen is pretty much a baby S-Class.

That's not to say the CT6 is a bad car but if you're going to decide between a CT6 and what is basically a baby S-Class, I'm sure many would pick the E-Class. It's nice that Cadillac is focusing on performance, but they're doing it during a time where that no longer matters or isn't as significant as it once was and that shows with the horrendous sales figures from the ATS and CTS.

Seems like a pretty solid car, but I doubt it will sell well. Also, the 2.0T has no place in this car.

Not a car class for me but if I was looking for this type of car I would definitely look at a Cadillac. I don't see anything wrong with the 2.0T, 5 Series sells tons of 4's at the same price range and weight.

Interesting the 7 series/ S Class are even brought up in these reviews. This car with the 335 hp V-6 and AWD starts at $56k, 7 series starts at $81k, and S class starts at $95k. Can't see many cross shopping these cars.

Price does seem to overlap the CTS more than I would have expected.

BMW doesn't have the tarnished image to repair that Cadillac does, either. This car sits atop a car in the Cadillac hierarchy that is already a competitor to the 5 Series.

And besides, I'll make the argument the 5 shouldn't have an I4 either.

First time ever I've even been remotely interested in a GM car. I like the interior and the overall looks. Frankly the interior of the bimmers starting to bore me now.

Caddy wasn't even on my list for next year when my lease will be up but this needs a closer look...

A fully optioned out 550i hits $90k no problem. So this car is 300-500lbs lighter than a 5 series and aligns with pricing yet gives you some of the 7 series luxury while driving more like a BMW than BMW has with the 5/7. Sounds good to me!

Extensive use of aluminum. That's the benefit you're given when you can share resources between brands and platforms. The next generation BMW's should see something similar now that they're sharing a platform with the 3er and higher plus the use of CFRP.

Wow, kudos GM. Their chassis design somehow has surpassed the Euro OEMs as of late. Very ironic considering their long-reputed love affair with pig iron.

It's quite a wonder how little this thing weighs for its size. The A8 is aluminum too and weighs ~4400lbs at minimum.

GM has improved a lot in terms of design and quality in this decade compared to all the garbage in the 90's and 00's. My dad has a 2015 Yukon (base model) and it feels surprisingly upscale/premium inside.

I'm sure, it drives very well, but the problem is that it looks boring and dated. A&s got old, it looks dated. Gm must change that design asap. The front is ok, but the rest is too boring.
Secondly, attention to the details in its interior is still very poor. Still too much plastic. Have u seen the seat controls? Jeez, not only they are made of the cheap plastic, but also they are ugly. Just compare the to the ones that are used in the c class. C class, Carl. I'm not even talking about the s. Cadillac needs a jaw dropping car. And this one is a big ats. Wake the uck up, cadillac
