Audi R10 V12 TDI 500hp/737lb-ft/23.5mpg!
Have a look at this! I'm more impressed with the engine than the looks to be honest. There's almost too much grille to be had, and the whole thing looks more like an aftermarket job. Very mad that they ditched the slats on the grille for honeycombe. Still, the wheels are nice looking...
[u2b]13-DTwoh2RQ&eurl=http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/News/articleId=124247[/u2b] Now Playing: Audi R10 V12 TDI Date posted: 01-10-2008 DETROIT — Audi's R8 V12 TDI concept, slated to be unveiled next week at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show, is making the rounds of the Internet, thanks to a Russian Web site that posted the video on Wednesday. The video was accompanied by a few details, apparently gleaned from Audi's still-embargoed press materials. Among the news: The big turbodiesel is rated at 500 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque, will propel the car to a top speed of more than 186 mph, will accelerate from zero to 60 mph in less than 4.2 seconds, and will return an average fuel economy of 23.5 mpg. In case we missed anything, the formal Audi press conference at the Detroit show is scheduled for Sunday afternoon. What this means to you: That's one hot diesel. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent
