2007/2008 335i Tail Lights?

Hi guys,

I've never posted to the forum but I've been reading for a while. I have been kind of out of the loop with cars recently (for shame!) but I had a question.

I've seen the 2007-2008 335i with two different tail light configurations... the newer one seems rounder and more oval-like. But I've also seen the long, narrow upside down "L" shape. What lights come with what year or what's the deal?

Thanks

The rounder ones came with the new 3-series body (e90) in 2006 model year.
The L-shaped ones were on the previous e46 body style.
I doubt you could see 335i with L-shaped lights, most probably it was 330i (or any other e46 style model).

haha, well that's a simple enough answer. I didn't realize they were styled differently, I thought it was a year thing. Ok, thanks

Oh, my bad. I didn't realize you didn't notice the difference between coupe and sedan. I thought you're talking about sedans only.

Yeah, the coupe and sedan don't share any body panels except for door handles and side mirrors I believe.
