It's interesting how car knowledge is different among generations of 3-series boards. E21/E30 people know their stuff as their cars have had to been rebuilt in some form now. E36'ers are 1/2 way there but still a bit attached to the more show and less go form. E46 people commonly complain about window regulators and question 15k mile oil changes. E90 people....hmm. Just some humor but nice s/c setup!!!! How much boost are you running? Those 2.8's can make some impressive power with FI.

e46 owners for the most part are only for show, and need "DIY" Guides for turning on headlights and replacing rear taillight bulbs.

I don't know about e90 owners, but I would probably feel safe to say that they are even more retarded than the e46 owners.

Tim, showing tiny ass parts of a car and making people guess is one thing.

Showing them the whole fucking front end of a BMW and them not knowing WTF it is is another thing

That's not a BMW. Sorry, only pics I could find at work. I yanked those pics off the site of the shop that built it for me. They still saved the pictures from when they were installing it. I have pictures on my laptop at home that reveals more, but I'm too lazy to post when i'm at home. Besides, I figure most car fanatics wouldn't mind taking a gander at some big T3/T4 turbo, iron casted exhaust manifold, and a brand spanking new fmic.

Naw, you should really see it when it's hot. Getting off the freeway, you see the exhaust manifold glows red.

It's cool and all, but I don't see the point of getting so much power out of a fwd Eclipse.

I switch off between a high pitched squeel and a loud diverter valve everyday, got tired of the turbo.

Few months ago I sold my 400hp/450trq fwd Volvo.

Barely get on the gas from a stop and you're pulling to the left with absolutely no traction.

Well, the Quaife LSD helped a lot. I was contemplating about the JIC full coilover, but sold the car before I got to it. Besides, more power is always fun. Off the line its not quick, but boy, when that thing hits 100, it pulls on almost any car on the freeway. I hit 140 so easily, it's amazing. Don't see the point? Well, since I got that car while I was still poor and in college, that's about the only choice I had. I don't think I can ever get tired of the turbo. Only thing I got tired of was the constant finding of new oil leak. It always seem spring new leaks faster then I can repair the old ones. For me, it was well worth it.

I made a post asking you if you upgraded the diff, guess it didn't go through?

Excellent choice with the Qualife LSD, you knew what you were doing.
