Everyone tries to blame the refs for the outcome of games, but if you would actually watch an entire game, you can see the refs dont have much influence. The only time a call could affect the outcome, is after one or both teams havent done enough to win it. There is no way you can blame the refs for the Warriors winning. No ref had anything to do with Klay scoring 37 in one quarter. Hell, the game that Green could have been suspended for, the GSW would have been better off if he had been suspended. He was -30 in points differential. If anything, not suspending him gave OKC an edge.
Giving Draymond the timeout decided the game essentially.

Bad call.

Yes there are a million bad calls, but the ones at the end can decide games. Not saying OKC would have won, but that call gave them 0 chance and it was a bad call.

The NBA knows they have a problem which is why they are trying to be me "transparent" by indicating blown calls after the fact.

Are you complaining that the 50-50 ball green got then called timeout was a bad call.

I think OKC actually does deserve another shot at the title. Too bad it was taken away by

I believe the theory that the nba tries to influence the outcome of games to generate what they believe would be better ratings....that's motive, they are doing what they are doing because of the $$$.

I also believe the disgraced ref that tried to whistle blow back in 2014, but it was swept under the rug.

As a life long Seattle SuperSonics fan and how Clay Bennett stole the team from Seattle, nothing makes me happier than seeing these arseholes lose. Long live the Sonics curse.

You've got to be kidding, the refs were not great but the sheer quantity of foul calls on the Warriors was horrendous. And so many of them at that were bad calls!

Say what you want about Draymond being suspended for a game, they LOST the game he would have been suspended for anyway.

I'm sure all those awful possessions and turn overs in the final 5 minutes of game 6 in OKC were the refs faults too. The poor officiating went both ways don't be such a poor sport to think and convince yourself it was Warriors favoritism.

I don't care either way, but giving a timeout to him on a 50/50 ball sealed the game for the Warriors.

If it's a 50/50 ball, make it a jump ball. No way you should grant a timeout on that.

normally i'd agree, but it looked pretty unanimous at the time of timeout that he had control.

Not really at all to me. In any case, the NBA is pretty much generally accepted as rigged. Officials impact the game so much.

For the guys who doubt.. the Kings/lakers series for at least one game the ref was riggin it.
I doubt its an "isolated" occurrence.
And yes refs have a HUGE impact in basketball.
And yes they (whether you call it NBA top brass or "the syndicate") have the means and the motive.. whether its to extend the series to make more TV revenue or to matchup the team into the next series which would bring better TV ratings ergo revenue.. we are talkin BOATLOADS of money here

like I said to me I see it as WWF with a BBALL

OKC should have won Game 6. KD took a lot of bad, rushed shots. No one on GS can guard KD one-on-one, if he played smart. RW made costly turnovers at the end and shot way too many 3s at a low percentage. They deserved to lose. And the Blazers had a good shot at knocking out GS as well.

The Blazers played the Warriors tough. But they only won one game...

The Blazers were leading in some of those games late in the game. They had a double digit lead going into the 4th quarter in one of the games they lost. They just couldn't close them out. Not bad from an inexperienced Playoff team.

I'm not disagreeing but in the end they lost in 5. I disagree that they had a good chance to eliminate the Warriors. The Playoffs is mostly decided by how a team can finish.

Yes a team still has to score baskets to win, but if you've been watching close enough the favoritism has been one sided and we can only assume that is because the refs are being given that direction from the league. Team owners should request an investigation and not allow the league to have influence over the refs.
It's all a conspiracy. There's no way that GS is really that good. Not much talent at all. If it wern't for the refs, GS players season would be over and they would all be on vacation or chillin' at their mansions. Damn those refs. They are costing GS players serious vacation time.

Now, when your team wins, whoever that is, I'm certain the refs not the reason, right?
