E46 M3 Maintenance

I'm thinking about getting a used E40 M3 in a year or two after the new M3 comes out, and wanted to see about how much maintenance is after the 4 yr included maintenance is over?

there is no E40 M3

why would you want the e46 m3 when the new one comes out?

(though it'll still look sexy, just like how E36 m3 STILL looks good.)
