I don't understand why people don't "dig around" on unauthorized, generally unknown sellers BEFORE purchasing product/service. Takes all of 5 minutes to come up with a lengthy report on one business.

You're pretty much shit out of luck. There isn't much police power available on sales for services or products over the Internet. If you can't cancel the cc, but do have the business' primary location and other geographical information, AND the cost of the service was substantial enough, consider the civil litigation route.

However, consider yourself shit out of luck if you can't stop the payment from processing.

Did you pay with paypal?

he used to be reputable but something happened 2 or so years back where he just went unresponsive and failed to deliver goods. There was a group buy on his stuff with guys waiting for months. Do a CC dispute or paypal claim. Once they start you should get the money refunded but either them of the fraduster POS.

Did some digging on the net and found out Ocarbon has just been doing this shady thing with alot of the Audi guys recently.

Other than contacting credit card company, is there such thing as internet/ecommerce police so we can report this?
Wait, he's got your friends money AND his trip pieces? He's not even returning the trim pieces? That sucks!

You threaten to sue, it's the American way. If they don't comply you go to the establishment and start busting knee caps.

An in person visit holds great power. If you know his location show up unannounced. Get trim back at least and the cops can get involved if you and fraudster are both standing there holding hands.
