To the guy who has a hard on for Buick's sales figures, be mindful that industry incentives are at their highest level since the recession. Buick makes mediocre vehicles, plain and simple. They only sell to (a) old folks in middle america, (b) fleets, and (c) people searching for a bargain.

Trolls.
Noooo.... BMW NEVER has incentive programs... never. LOL

And don't forget that Buick still offers a manual transmission in at least 2 or 3 of their cars.

Is that a political decision, or based on perceived quality of the brand? No flame; just curious.

The Government helps out most every industry in one why or another, whether its is farming, financial, or energy. GM's "bailout" was just more public than most. I'm not happy it was a move by O'Bama to gain favor (payback maybe?) from the UAW, but I think when you look at it from a industry perspective, it saved a lot of jobs and protected pretty much the entire US automotive industry from a serious shit load of heartache. For one, Ford really would have been up shits creek being that it leveraged the entire company assets to secure financing for operations while it got new, better product to market. Had the whole US automotive industry taken a hit by GM failing, it would have impacted Ford as well.

Now as far as Chrysler... selling out to Fiat, that's my political decision; I'll never by a Mopar from now on. I mean how many models can it ring out of a 20-year old Mercedes Benz S-Class chassis?

Any source for any of this or you just make it up and post it?

As for "hard on for Buick", you mean actually posting sales numbers because they are facts and not throwing out ideas that are based on your preference?
