BMW Financial Services aka BMW FS recently deployed a brand new version of their website resulting into strange login issues with the following error message:

There is also nothing wrong with the website, but mobile and desktop login attempts both fail, because the issue has to do with their user database somehow getting malformed or misaligned during the new website deployment. Resolution steps: 1. Call customer service at 800-578-5000 to get your account corrected. (Optional) 2. Re-register your account and set new password before calling customer service. Your account access will be restored within a few minutes or hours after calling. |

It gets far worse. I logged in and it displayed an account that wasn’t mine. It was for a 2014 335xi. I logged out and back in then the correct info displayed.
