After I cleaned the bird shit on my car, I can still see some residue under sun. Not sure if the clear coat or paint is damaged. I tried scratch remover, polish, compound, bug & tar remover... none of them work. Planning to get a touch up ten. What is your suggestion?

Buff and polish, best you can do.
Bird crap is very accidic.

My CF trunk spoiler seems to be prime real estate for birds. While parked at work, I get at least 3 bombs a week. I have seriously thought about placing a towel over it just to save the headache of constantly cleaning.

ive had this , like most people. ive had the poop outline etched into the clear coat. so i tried buffing it out, no go. i tried 3 stage buffing, no go. i ended up doing a wet sand on it, then buffing it out to get ride of the etching. pain in the ass. if you dont feel good about doing wet sanding yourself, pay to have a good detailer do it. my new motto is "if it flys it dies".. hate birds...

Don’t know what manufacturer products the original poster was using...

I would first remove all the waxes and polishes off the paint washing with car wash soap or an automotive first step stripper that removes all the old wax. Then after one of these I would gently wipe down the spot in question with isopropyl alcohol. Since you’ve already tried a lot of products, we need to decide on a correcting cream and a few stages of lesser correction to polish it out. You need good microfiber towels and probably two or three stages of correcting to polish it out.

The key is finding the right product. I been using this stuff (no longer available)but I have some and it’s excellent at removing stains of insects and tar and bird residue https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...e/83122220425/

I also had great results with Griots paint corrrction.

I've had some luck polishing them out, but man, unless there's a fresh layer of sealant on the car, it's not always easy to remove them after the damage has been done.
