Yeah, that's quite common where I live with VW's and older model Mercedes owners but it's illegal. You know what's even MORE LAME?????? Some people put Euro plates inside the car on their dashboard, and apparently, it's legal if you have real front plates on your front bumpers. It's like, "Hi folks, I used to drive in Europe!". Like, we care!

am I the only one who hates rocking plates at all?
I like North American plates because they are small...

european plates take up like 1/3 of the bumper and make the car look sooo fugly
why would you want to rock that?

totally agree... the f*cking dealership installed a front plate on my 335 even when i specifically told them not two... they're filling in the wholes and repainting the bumper for me but still it really pissed me off.

can't wait for the day when tech catches up and all cars will be plateless!

Because the euro plates are much smaller than US plates and don't hang off/cover places they aren't supposed to. In other words US plates make the car look like shit, euro plates look much better.

The height of an NA plate obscures air flow, whereas the wide, short euro plate just covers plastic and allows air unhindered access to the brake ducts, radiator, etc.

I dont see how its lame to have a Euro plate. I have no front Oates but I have
A german plate on the dash simply because I'm german and because weve takin European delivery on a few of our cars. Its more about the person rather than a spectators mod. Like they care what you think. Its pride in where you come from.
