New Ford Flex has same body roll strength as BMW 335i
I was doing some reading on Edmunds Inside Line this morning and ran across this in a new review on the Ford Flex.
"And we're not yet sure what to make of the company's claim that the Flex has the same amount of body roll as a BMW 335i. It's clear that the company is presenting the Flex as a response to the image of the wallowing minivan. We'll wait until we actually get to drive one to make any remarks on that front." Full Review: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=125899 It's always funny reading about other vehicles that try oh so hard to make a connection to the formidable BMW 3-series, or any BMW for the matter.

Wow I bet the design team spent months on that one.

I'll bet it took them years to style, and that's why Ford stock is $8.

My god that thing is hideous. That makes the X6 look gorgeous after all!
Yeah, no kidding. It looks like they took a rectangle block to shape the design in, took a chisel to one end, popped it once to make the hood and windshield and said "THERE, THAT'S PERFECT!"

Bland, derivative, and trying too hard imo.

Hah, I like the look of the car. It's by no means sexy, but it is a simple, direct shape. It looks nice in person to me. Of course, I like the look of my '98 Crown Victoria...

Disagree on the other Range Rover. I have seen Rovers on trails that an Explorer would not have a chance on. They have some awesome off road technology. |
