Holy smokes that is a high payment. Looks like a heavily optioned car, but the discount from MSRP was probably minimal and the taxes might have been rolled into the payment. Good luck with sale... beautiful car nonetheless

Yup nicely optioned but the monthly would have to be about $300-400 cheaper to get any interest, at the current price you can pick up a new X5MC

Beautiful car, but you are going to have to offer incentives to get people interested. No one is going to want to take on your $7000 of negative equity which is saddled with taxes. Even if you offer that over the life of the lease, its only about $212 a month credit making a payment of around $1478. On top of that you've exceeded the monthly mileage average by putting on double what would be expected since you got the car. Plus why pay for the upgraded maintenance on a leased car unless you anticipated high use and wear. Unfortunately I suspect your buyout would be high as well, but could be another option for someone taking over your lease.

Agree with gqgambler - that doesn't add up. It's a well equipped car - what was the MSRP on it (I'm sure the person taking over will like to know.) Window sticker may help.
It sounds like you are expecting the person taking over your lease to eat your negative equity. You will need to give that $7,000 incentive to the new person - at a minimum for someone to even consider that deal. Try Leastrader or Swapalease? Sorry to be harsh, but sometimes that's needed for someone to think realistically. Good luck! I know it sucks having negative equity in a car, but sometimes you have to bite the bullet by either offering more incentives or keeping it. You are very early into the lease for someone to pick this over a new one. Maybe with 12 to 18 months remaining, someone may considering it as a short term lease.
