This dog thinks he's a cat (jumps on counters like cat siblings)
LOL @ this dog. Not sure I'd be keen on having my dog jump on top of kitchen counters and even the fridge!

Nope. Not in my house.
I don't believe the dog thinks that it's a cat as much as it has some form of political agenda. If the cats can do it, then why can't he? I have a ton to say on this, but will resist being the killjoy today. Maybe someone taught the dog that the floor is hot lava? |

I've had dogs all my life and a few cats. None of them was ever allowed on the furniture, counters, tables or beds. They had the whole floor and that's where their beds were. I would step over them regardless of where they decided to sleep. Well, except for one dog that loved to sleep right in front of the toilet. He got nudged out of the way when required.

I would not even let a cat on my counters - F that. Get with the program or GTFO of my house.

Hilarious. Loving the look of that office chair upholstery with the 'lived in' look. And imagining the next owners of the house wondering why there are scratches on the top of the fridge and cabinets - would give it that Amityville vibe for sure.

The only reason they may be filthy is if you let them become filthy. If they're a house dog they won't be. Training is also key and will not "destroy shit" if they have been trained properly. This video was obviously an extreme case and not normal by any stretch of the imagination, hence I posted it for a laugh.

The fur gets EVERYWHERE, absolutely EVERYWHERE. No amount of cleaning can get to insidious places the fur gets into. Light switches, cracks in floor boards or baseboards, corners of steps, under stair wells... urrrrrrgh. And dog houses smell like dog, the second i walk in i smell dog. Nothing but dog. |

I had Hamilton the miniature house lion for a few years. Absolutely broke my heart when I re-homed him. I decided about 3 months after getting him that I would not have another pet in the house. Vomit, cat poo & hair constantly. Loved that furry bastard, but I will not own another pet. I love all animals, but I have no desire to buy something that will destroy everything I work my ass off for.

I grew up on a small farm and had dogs, cats, pigs, cows etc, not a lot of each but a variety. Oh we had well over 100 rabbits but that was a small business (we are Maltese).
Dogs and cats lived outside at all times, we had a little house for the dogs but they just slept under a tree unless it was mid July and a bit chilly. |

Makes perfect sense - humans are inherently totally clean, no smells ever, no messing things up, and no shedding. And they are so much better company than cats and dogs.
