What's your dream car lineup?

It's a slow Saturday morning. I have family over, and nobody's awake. So in an effort to pass the time, I got to thinking....

What's everyone's dream car lineup? To make sure this doesn't go overboard (let's be honest, a lot of us would just have a Jay Leno style 150+ car garage if we could), I'm limiting it to a 6 car lineup, so pick wisely :

Dream daily driver
Dream family hauler
Dream weekend car
Dream track car
Dream vintage car
Honorable Mention car

I'll go first:

Dream daily driver - Bentley Continental GT... gotta make sure it's in "cricket ball red"
Name: rp_-_cricket_ball_gt-2.jpg
Views: 2092
Size: 316.3 KB

Dream family hauler - Rolls Royce Cullinan.... because my daughter needs sheep skin floor mats
Name: Rolls-Royce-Cullinan-Black-Badge-.jpg
Views: 3562
Size: 586.2 KB

Dream weekend car - Pagani Huayra Roadster... I love everything about this car, except maybe they could turn down the boost a little so I could actually hear the motor instead of massive turbos
Name: 185452.jpg
Views: 1840
Size: 61.1 KB

Dream track car - Lotus Exige S... it's all about lightness
Name: maxresdefault.jpg
Views: 1967
Size: 78.1 KB

Dream vintage car - Ferrari 250 GTO... my list wouldn't be complete without a Ferrari
Name: 020E0F33-C2DE-4CDF-B3F4-8118F6937B70-1.jpeg
Views: 1974
Size: 176.7 KB

Honorable mention car - Lexus LFA... I only included this category because of I had to figure out a way to include the greatest sounding car of all time.
Name: 26_LFA-1500x900.jpg

Dream daily driver - Rolls Royce Wraith black badge

Dream family hauler - well no plans for that but i like 4x4 G wagons.

Dream weekend car - Carrera GT

Dream track car - Aston Martin Valkyrie

Dream vintage car - do Singer 911s count ? I'd probably do a vintage with modern tech.

Honorable Mention car - its always been a toss up for dream car between the carrera gt and f50.

My Dream Car Lineup

I love these fantasy posts, here's probably what my lineup would look like.

Dream Daily Driver - Bentley Continental GT W12
Name: GT W12.jpg
Views: 1664
Size: 551.8 KB

Like OP I think the GT would be an excellent daily driver. The move from MLB to MSB platforms has made this a true and proper luxury gran tourer now, the W12 engine is smooth as could be, and the interior is gorgeous, not to mention most of all, no b-pillars! However unlike OP, I'd get mine in Green on Tan.

Dream Family Car - Mercedes-AMG E63S Wagon
Name: E63S Wagon.jpg
Views: 1711
Size: 429.7 KB

The best performance wagon you can buy (even better than the sexier Audi RS6). Perfect mix of luxury and sport, and amazing practicality, no reason to buy some boring performance SUV when you can get car like handling with SUV practicality in the packaging of what is now a unicorn.

Dream Weekend Car - Porsche 918 Spyder
Name: 918 Spyder.jpg
Views: 3048
Size: 737.9 KB

This was a tough choice but I've always wanted one of these and find that the mix of electrification with the Porsche V8 would make for a very cool experience behind the wheel, not to mention the car itself is just drop dead gorgeous.

Dream Track Car - BMW E30 M3 EVO
Name: E30 M3 EVO.jpg
Views: 1759
Size: 583.8 KB

It was between an E30 and W201 190E 2.3-16 but I gotta give it to the BMW as its just a classic especially in regards to racing. To be honest I don't know too much about the EVO E30 M3's over the regular one's but what I do know is that they're better and my choice for a track car would always be BMW's masterpiece, so why not get the best and coolest version available?

Dream Vintage Car - Mercedes W198 300SL Gullwing
Name: SL Gullwing.jpg
Views: 3169
Size: 560.7 KB

This was a surprisingly easy choice. From the looks, to the engine, manual gearbox and of course, the doors, this is easily one of the coolest cars of all time, and has always been a dream car for me.

Honorable Mention - Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 (or any classic Alfa)
Name: GTV 2000.jpg
Views: 1805
Size: 192.5 KB

I was gonna say LFA like OP until I remembered I was missing an Italian car. Nothing in the world has soul like the Italians and I've always loved an Alfa. Its hard to pick so I just said any classic Alfa, but the GTV 2000 is definitely towards the top of my Alfa list.

If I didn't choose the LFA, it would absolutely have been the F50. I've loved this car since I was a kid. Other kids may have had posters of Lambos... I had posters of the F50. To me it was absolutely beautiful and still is to this day

This is what makes these fantasy discussions so difficult. There's SO many cars I want for various reasons, so picking just 6 was tough for me. I love the GTV.

Also I can't be mad at a green British car. It only seems right.

Here is my list. My friends and I have had similar lists over the years but here is my current version.

Dream Daily Driver
BMW M8 GC Competition - It was a tough choice between the M5 CS and this. While I adore the M5 CS, I prefer the sleeker profile of the 8.

Dream Family Hauler
Mercedes AMG GLE 63S
Absolute monster in a practical package with a great interior.

Dream Weekend Car
Ferrari 488
I actually got to drive one last weekend as part of a track driving experience event. Stunning vehicle with so much presence and brand heritage.

Dream Track Car
Porsche 911 GT3
Automotive perfection.

Dream Vintage Car
Porsche Carrera GT
Does this count as a "vintage"? LOL, I am not sure but I'll put it down anyway. That V10!

Honorable Mention Car
Rolls Royce Wraith Black Badge
Definitely need a car that is such an iconic part of the automotive world. Also need something that is as luxurious as it gets for those times where you just want to relax.

more 911 (Guntherworks) more 911 - DLS, more 911 (GT2 RS Manthey), and a Macan GTS for the wife if it'll tow some 911 comfortably. That's it.

Honestly, as dumb and homerish as this sounds, I would love to open a classic BMW ///Museum.

So my dream is a small collection

E30, E36, E46, E9x, E39 etc

Anything I could find before everything went too digital/electrical/turbo. People here actually have my dream, that is the funny part and gives me something to work for.

Although, as others have pointed out, a Porsche Reimagined by Singer is maybe the most beautiful car inside and out that I have ever seen. (in pictures and on Lenos garage)

I don't know if I'd be able to maintain a classic car museum. I'd just want to drive them all the time

I hear ya, I am not talking Leno big, just "here is what automotive purity looks like" a small less than 10 collection.

Honestly, if my wife let my leverage most of my retirement I could get it done.

Unfortunately the \\\Wife does not see eye to eye with ///Me.

Wives....

I can't even convince my wife to let me use the 3rd garage spot to fix up an old e46. She'd rather have that space for useless junk.

Put the wife in the garage to clear out space in the house for the E46!

Tell her one of the two will appreciate in value and that's why you are fixing up the E46.

jk obviously! I would seriously tell my wife that same "joke" and she would laugh, so not trying to be a jerk!

My "If I won the Lotto" list, assuming running costs are a thing:

Dream Daily Driver - E39 M5
Lucky to have this in the garage, a true Swiss Army knife of a car

Dream Family Hauler - Lancia Delta Integrale Evo 2 16V
Group A fun for the whole family

Dream Weekend Car - Ferrari F355 Berlinetta
5 Valves and Wedge styling, just how a Ferrari should be (IMO). Also, who doesn't love engine out maintenance?

Dream Street/Track Car - 997.1 GT3 RS
Obvious choice and for good reason

Dream Vintage Car - 964 Carrera RS
If Walter Rohrl has one, its gotta be good

Honorable Mention -
Porsche Carrera GT - The definitive "modern" vintage car. This would be the dream weekend car, assuming running costs are no object
