It looks like the measurement is number of drivers (registered/insured owners) with a reckless infraction per 10,000 of a specific vehicle. So data for the driver, not necessarily stating that the reckless citation was issued IN that car. So if the driver owns a Miata but got the citation in a Honda Pilot, does that get counted?

Miata holds the title with 0.73% of the drivers.

I wonder what this data would look like for low production vehicles. I'm sure there are plenty of well-to-dos with a 1 of xxx vehicle with a reckless on their record. Next thing you know an Izuzu VehiCross looks like the most dangerous vehicle on the planet.

Yeah I think it's just drawing a correlation between reckless driving infractions, and owners of these vehicles. Not that these vehicles cause reckless driving behavior, or that the reckless driving behavior occurred in these vehicles. Kind of a - the owner of this vehicle is more likely to have had a reckless driving infraction.

No WRX though...I'm surprised.

Add location specific data, like a Cars and Coffee event and we know who's coming out on top.

No one drives more aggressive than the person who couldn't afford the V8 version of their car.

Just a personal anecdote, but its Corollas (all model years) around here. Great reliable cars into the millions of them on the road but man, watch out.

Kind of surprised they didn't make the list by volume alone.

Often used for driver training, great hand me down to teenagers, cheap, reliable for lower budget drivers...

Huh? Corolla's drive me nuts, they are all driven by uber conservative people who are scared to be on the road. ACHINGLY slow, as in come to a near stop to turn.

Wonder if it's because Miatas are so small and we cannot see them.

Isuzu Rodeo? Are there even any left on the road?

Interesting, according to every other forum, BMW drivers are the worst...?
But to me, I feel like every jacked up pickup driver has something going on, starting from blinding aftermarket HID/LEDs/light bars to very aggressive driving in the worst possible vehicle for that purpose...

Bingo. Throw in pickup trucks as well, especially modded ones.

Honda Accords used to be ok but I think the aggressive styling of the current model has attracted the wrong crowd.

I think the data above is flawed.

In LA there are definitely a lot of knuckleheads driving new BMWs. But I think that is more reflective of the location. In most parts of the country I've noticed BMWs seem to be driven pretty conservatively save for late model 3-series.

Hah, damned near spot on!

The only one I'd add is the Hyundai Genesis Coupe. Guaranteed to be a teenager behind the wheel mean mugging me, all seem to be instantly triggered and threatened by an ///M3 or ///M4 badge. At least it's nice to see a younger generation still interested in cars though!

Also, damn if they don't sound better than my S55 powered cars lol.

The original list is a bit of a shocker. I have never been chased by a Miata lol.
