Koenigsegg Regera sets new laprecord

Koenigsegg Regera is now the new record holder
for production cars on Ring Knutstorp racetrack in Sweden.
A short twisty track that shouldn't fit the Regera but....
65/100 of a second faster than the previous record
holder McLaren Senna.

Kudos to Koenigsegg, they push the limits of engineering. But I swear, everytime I see Christian Koenigsegg I think of Fantoms.

I fell in love with Koenigsegg around almost 20 years ago when Jeremy Clarkson tested the CC8S on Top Gear... what really got me were the doors! So cool how they opened. I have yet to see another car manufacturer that makes doors that opened like that
