either way, very cool!
As the CIO of my firm, I decided to get the MacBook Pro to prove that the Mac could work on our Windows network. Apple of course are very obliging with assistance... I regularly took my G4 in and had other Executives and the Directors drooling, so I decided that work could buy me one and it could become an option for anyone to use either operating system, depending on their circumstances and preference.

I have to say that having the Intel chip and the ability to run virtualisation (not bootcamp) and have OS X and Windows run at the same time makes this decision less risky, but honestly I never needed Virtual PC on my G4.

As someone quipped when Apple first released bootcamp, seeing XP startup screen on Apple's gorgeous hardware is like seeing your grandmother naked, very frightening, and totally disturbing and unnatural.

GAA!!!
heh heh, now that's funny.

Well, we're not quite that free at my company (ie only the gfx ppl have 'em), but it's nice to know that the environment seems to be changing a bit regarding Macs in the workplace. An IT guy at work showed me the XServe's that we've got running. Something like a couple of TB of storage...
