So best I can find the show has only been available on HBO Max. I signed up for that service 2 months ago. I started to watch season one and I've seen them before, but I've not watched it on HBO. I feel like I'm going nuts here. Did the show go by some other name previously?
I've had netflix, prime and hulu for years. I assume I would have seen it one one of those.

Yes, you are going crazy, and when you watch the last episode of season 1, you will go even crazier.
