Aluminum trim worn and scratched

Hello everyone, I recently bought a 640i and it came with the aluminum trim. However the previous owner scratched it up pretty bad. Does any one have any recommendations on how to fix it or even replace it with something else maybe even some overlays I can buy for all the trim.

I would go to the dealer and buy new trim. Maybe even a wood trim would look great. Only need a trim tool to remove the old trim.

Buying new trim from the dealer is my best option but it's going to be pretty expensive. I'm jealous of the f30 guys who can get the kies Motorsports carbon fiber trim overlay. If only they had it for the f06.

Go to the dealer, get a quote, go online with the part numbers and save yourself some money.

Can you use sandpaper and redo the brushed finish on these? Probably worth a try if you were going to trash them anyways

Mine was somewhat like that, not as bad. I wrapped with 3M Dinoc and it looks great now.
