iDrive 7 Bluetooth audio not working

sorry i post in the general thread for more response in case someone has a great solution

so when going on a 4 hr drive the bluetooth audio decided it will not give sound

"no source available" was the iDrive 7 message

under Music - No device connected. click connect device
under Connected Device - Samsung S22 - Phone, Message, Music

in my phone Bluetooth - BMW - Phone, Message Audio

Play music in phone - no sound in phone, sound being transmitted via bluetooth
BMW - "No source"

Check uncheck everything i can find on the iDrive, connect disconnect the phone multiple times on iDrive in every menu i can find, also the same on the Phone.
Delete Bluetooth Connection on Phone, new Pairing

Nothing, same no audio despite iDrive saying it is connected.
Cannot restart iDrive as driving.

So i just connected Android Auto and upon arrival drained all my battery but at least I had music

ANy ideas?

Please and thank you

edit - i think when i get home I'll try reboot iDrive using my OBD-Bimmercode, not sure if that will fix it

PS i can't use wireless charging on this phone as the phone heats up to frying egg temperature and it doesn't seem to gain charge only negative delta battery % so i don't want to fry my phone's battery (Li Ion hates heat)

It's a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra (basically a Note 22)

It takes at least 20 seconds before pressing and holding the center of the manual volume control will cause a reset. Screen will go black. Keep holding until you hear about 3 clicks (I assume relays) from under the dash). Took my g80 in for break in service. Got home and realized I had no audio. Reset fixed it.

Any updates on this fix? I just starting having the same problem with my 340i. Phone is connected to Bluetooth but audio won't connect. I even tried factory reseting idrive but it didn't work
