Tennis Racket
Anyone play Tennis here? If so, post your racket.
I just picked up a Babolat AeroPro Drive. It's sweet. |

Cool man. I just picked up a pair of the same racquets.
I used to play with the old Wilson Pro Staff 6.0 racquets, but am having an increasingly harder time playing with them as they are pretty damn unforgiving, especially to players who are not as consistant. I'm picking the Babolats up tomorrow with poly strings. I've been playing with Gamma TNT2 for years so it'll be interesting to see the difference. Last edited by BimmerPod; 11-02-2010 at 10:56 AM.. |

I play with a Prince o3 Tour mid-plus...can't remember what string is on it...
Looks like: It's about 5 years old and has stood up pretty well but its time is coming...probably next spring |

I think you posted the Ozone tour which is really pretty similar to the O3 tour...both are 800 power rating and I've played with both and really couldn't distinguish enough of a difference to make it worth upgrading to it, but I play pretty casually...probably a 3-3.5/6 on the USTA scale...closer to a 3 since I haven't played too much this year

Babolat Aero pro cortex.
Babolat pure drive GT Dunlop Aerogel 600. Super light oversized Dunlop for GF... Usually play with pure drive or aero. prefer the aero. When I am playing like crap aerogel. It helps me find my stroke, rhythm. I think it's because it has larger sweet spot and is more forgiving so less mistakes. That puts me in a happy place mentally and things come together naturally. Plus it's lighter (not that babolats are heavy) so I kind of ease up and shorten my swing and let the racket do the work and focus on fundamentals. |
