well magazines are probably directly or indirectly paid by marketing departments. so when bmw wants to promote for 335 over G37 or some competitor they will get the good numbers, but when bmw wants to hype the M3 they will make magazines get shitty numbers on 335 and good numbers on M3. 335 was capable of getting very quick numbers for over a year, all of a sudden reviewers are getting slower 335's?? hahaha magazines are pieces of shits u cant rely on.

If that's the case add in the Spec-V GTR. The test seems a little unbalanced. GT2 and ACR are purpose built track versions. Z06 is mid level version of the car and the GTR is the base model. ZR1 & Spec-V traded for the Z06 and Z06 would probably be a closer contest.

the ZR1 is not out yet. After reading the article it seems they fell this is the real time for a GTR and it was overrated in the last testes that were run.

They should really test the ZR1, V-Spec GTR, GT2, ACR Viper, F1 Scuderia and LP560-4 and see who comes out the victor.

The viper is where its at! it is the most raw and pure driving experience you will ever have. I have a 2001 ACR, and you could not pay me enough money to sell it. No traction control, no other electronic stability control (even on the current model). Dodge was forced to put ABS on vipers in 2001! that is what i LOVE about the viper...there is no bullshit in the viper. it is purpose built, and is a TRUE drivers car. the new ACR is unbelievable, and i would take it any day over the ZR1. Corvette lost its original path a long time ago. Corvettes are the most mass produced sports cars around. i don't even give a shit when i see one. vipers are rare and dodge has never forgotten why they made the viepr in the first place. anyways, i think the ZR1 is not going to be anything special on the track, its just a quarter mile king. you cannot have that much power in a slippery body shell.

I've seen times ranging from 3.3 (Ed's Insideline), to 3.5 (TG, MF claims), to 3.7. I'd think they would be consistent considering the quicker times were achieved using launch control.
