Ridiculously expensive weddings

The other night I was talking to a guy who works on the events crew for one of the local mansions, and he said that one of the couples who got married there last week spent $300,000 just on flowers. He said that the whole thing easily cost over 1 mil, and there were only 130 guests. I was like

, and

all at the same time.

I'm sure this was a drop in the bucket for these people, but sometimes I think that people are more concerned about the wedding than the marriage.

Yeah and thats why they never last. I say skip the wedding and have a nice LONG Honeymoon.

Try $62 million for the daughter of the owner of Metta steel the largest steel company in the world. He rented out the entire park surrounding the Eiffel tower just so his daughter could have a outdoor reception.

I plan on getting married on the top of mount everest... Anybody that wants to come is more than welcome... Reception cost: maybe a few lives...

Lakshmi Naryan Mittal. Richest Asian or man in UK. One of the richest people in the world. Spent 60-65 Million dollars on his daughters wedding. Rented the Palace of Versailles..... Gold invitation cards, celebrities flown from India, all sorts of sh*t.

He also has the most expensive private residence in the world. About $150,000,000 55,000 square foot mansion, 22-23 Kensington Gardens, lives next door to royalty. Yeah, he's got Bill Gates beat.
