M3 the greatest of all M's?

I'm not sure about that but I'll put this on.

Cool video, thanks for posting. Best M3, definitely. It's the only one that was born as a race car first, street car second. Best M car? Oof, that's a stretch. Best friend has one, I've driven it tons and love it but there are generations of M5 that I'd much rather live with on a daily basis.

Love mine, but every kid that see's it wants to pull up and race. Slow car by today's standard but is still super fun and communicative to drive. Simple set of sticky tires and some nice backroads.

The original BMW M3 and the original Mercedes 190E 2.5-16 were the reason I fell in love with German cars back then. My friend in high school had one. His mother bought a new silver 190E 2.5-16 for him. Sadly, right after high school, I found out that he crashed it into a deer at night and passed away.

e30 M3 is a phenomenal car and a blast to drive on track. Unfortunately, the last time I drove one on track was in 1994

However, it’s not my favorite M3. The e46 M3 is my all time favorite M3. CSL version and, in particular, the GTR version are the best limited edition M3s ever built. I’d love to own a GTR. e92 GTS with 4.4 L s65 isn’t far behind the e46 limited editions. F82 GTS and G82 CSL bring up the rear of limited edition models.
