Try www.cb2.com. It's a Crate & Barrel store, but less expensive than their main stores. I think cb2 is online only (or at least there's only a few stores). Their stuff is more modern/contemporary, and most is put it together yourself, but it looks nice. I plan on furnishing some empty rooms in my house with their stuff.

West Elm is good quality for the price. I have some floating shelves from there, and a coffee table as well. No complaints or issues with either.

why not just go to your local furniture stores when they're on sale??? Im sure you can get good deals this way.

In Chicago we have a store called Dania that has good prices and sleek design, also a store called Design Within Reach.... as someone else said Craigslist is another option but requires patience

this is my choice , nicely made knock offs and some other stuff
