Hi has anyone had a build date for their x3.

I found out today after placing order on the 08/08/24 that it will have production on the week commencing 18th November.

Do any of you think this will change as I need the car first or second week of January 2025 as that is when my current BMW goes back.

Sound about right. If Your BMW lease is up when you say & new build is not delivered by then, I’m sure they will extend return date until it arrives.

Generally from build completion to delivery to UK dealer takes around 4 weeks, but that assumes no delays, no sales stop, and Xmas may slow things a bit depending where your car is.

They say my production date will be week commencing 30th September but may well change - who knows?

I’ve been given a build date for w/c 20th Jan 25, but not sure how long it’ll take after this to reach my UK Dealership. Is it still around 4 weeks after the car build is complete to reach UK?

Average is around 4 weeks when it’s left the factory and gone to port of exit. That said cars can spend time in QC after being built, hence haven’t left the factory.

Also sales stop may be issued by BMW for corrective work after a car leaves the factory, which may delay delivery.
