Afaik, the beige is plastic material and will be more practical and robust in day to day use, especially if the car is a daily family car with kids or pets. Merino is died sheep skin and has a soft natural finish which is nice, but it has a porous surface that can easily absorb oil, grease, moisture dye transfer, sunscreen etc. This can be particularly problematic with light coloured options. There are leather protection products, but most are for sealed/coated automotive leather, so check products carefully. |

There is already a thread regarding this topic:
https://g45.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=2141169 I hope you are aware that the beige veganza has red stitching. Imho best interior color matching alpine white paint is the espresso brown veganza which is very easy to keep clean. |

The online configurator makes espresso brown look pretty dark, but it's actually not that dark in sunlight. So it's actually a pretty good option for giving the interior a warmer & lighter feel. Espresso brown is already an existing color for some other models, e.g. 5 series, so take a look in person too if you can.

Personally, I’d select the covering material I wanted on the seats, which will then determine the colour options. Unfortunately, this is pretty limited for leather for the G45.
Not sure if it’s a consideration, but in the UK the previous gen only offered plastic seats on the base xline model, and it wasn’t even an option on the M40. |

After seeing the amber leather in person (think yellowish pumpkins) it was a big no. Espresso/magnolia should be in body assembly today

I've seen all colors in person and my favorites are definitely black and espresso.
If only they still had Tacora Red... |

It's subjective, I know. But my point is that I wouldn't dismiss it out of hand just because it's "the brown option". Not my car (my G45 M50 is still on its way -- currently in Kansas City today), but here's a decent photo I found online: |
