Which key do you use ?
Just wondering how many of you use solely the digital key card or their phone to open and start their BMW’s vs the actual physical key ? Have you had any issues ? I guess I’m old fashioned and have always used my key fob

I only use the key fob. Would rather not have more ways for someone to potentially steal my car if I lose or have my phone or wallet (with card in it) stolen.

I guess it depends on how you define "use". My actual key remains in my pocket on the housekey chain and I never touch it other than to move it to the pants of the day. I never use the phone, other than for a remote start to cool down in the heat of Summer. Not sure why I would ever use a phone otherwise when all I have to do is touch a door handle and push a button.

I’ve been using the digital key on my iPhone/watch.
I haven’t fully switched over yet and carrying two fobs is annoying. Only thing is annoying as I walk by the car unlocks. |

It’s also useful if I want to lock the glove box, which needs the physical key, or as a backup, if I have a battery issue and need the physical key to enter the car. |

I always open and start my car with my iPhone or Apple Watch, it's very convenient. In the new X3 it will be much more fun with the new BMW Digital Key Plus! No need to take the phone out of your pocket to open it or put it in the charging base to start it.

I love comfort access so I put key fob in my pocket.

I keep a fob in my work bag, but comfort access 2.0 with the digital key makes it so convenient to just use my phone and have 1 less thing in my pocket. Got nervous once when my phone died at the end of a run (terrible old battery), but iPhone will enable continued use of your wallet to unlock / start the car even after it dies.
