Yeah, it’s not perfect but pretty close, IMO. Since I couldn’t find any specific wheel specs for the G45 or anyone else who has put on aftermarket wheels I called Vossen and worked with their rep to try to guess the best specs. All things considered I think it turned out pretty well.

Hopefully I walked so that others may run. 😄

Maybe a little more in front. This is the only pic I have of the side/poke right now and it’s from the rear looking forward.

Looks good. I need to find a set of wheels too. I think I'm going to make the factory wheels the winter set, because they are ugly. Most of the choices on the new x3 wheels are ugly to me.

What tire pressure are you running. I’ve installed the Michelin psas4 also in the same size I’m running these pressures and the ride is noticeably more harsh. I think I’m going to lower the pressure to the under 100mph setting.

I’m running 38 in the front and 42 in the rear. Ride seems fine to me but everyone’s preferences are different. I also do a lot of high speed expressway driving so wanted to keep the pressures a bit higher.

The wheels are superb. What did you drive before? Did you cross shop any other vehicles?

Thanks! I test drove almost... everything... off and on over the course of the past year and more frequently since this July.

Wanted to downsize from 2 to 1 cars - a '23 Lincoln Corsair and a '23 M2 and finally decided on the '25 X3 M50.

Wrote up more in a post a month or so ago here:

Here's my old M2:

I agree. The proportions seem off.

The new design language will take time to get used to, but for now I think the previous gen remains better looking.

Love the design and color. Could benefit from a 5-10 mm spacer in the back as mentioned. I wonder how 22" would look as there are more tire choices for that size. Congrats and enjoy.

Almost seems like the same offsets as last generation. A +25 square set up all around should work nicely.

Well done. Just realized my G80 Eidelweiss 20” square w similar offset running 285 f/295 r, 5x112, can be swapped to the new G45 for summer (keep OEM all season for winter)….thry are gold now but will powder coat them a new color…

1. I’m thinking a bright silver but thoughts appreciated, and

2. I want to start basic mods (HAS, tune/PB, midpipe, exhaust, cosmetic basics like color matched reflectors, etc), it been a month and I’m itchy….has anyone started?

Thx
