Remote interior camera view

Any time I try remote view interior of my car from the App. I get an error saying activate privacy settings to use remote. Anybody has this working ?

Yup, it's working fine for me. As it says, you need to enable it from the car within "Data Privacy" (from the list of all apps in iDrive). Unfortunately a bunch of features are disabled by default due to these privacy settings. And you need to enable them separately for each BMW ID profile. It's annoying, but at least the hassle is just in this one time initial setup.

Thank you. In the data privacy , I went to apps and checked interior camera nothing is blocked . The video you shared is generic , does not detail specific permission. Do you know which app in data privacy to check

Mine did the same thing for a while and then suddenly started working. Not sure what happened. I’ve had the car for about 5 weeks and it started working a week or so ago.

I had a similar issue for a while. It got fixed when I restarted the iDrive

I had a same issue and it was fixed when the theft alarm was alarmed 😂
And now it works

I got it working , after I restarted my iDrive I noticed in the Data Privacy app->BMW permissions there is ‘Remote Inside View’. It works once you enable this . Screenshot for others facing the same issue
